Recorded for Posterity

I'm sure all 15 of you have noticed that I haven't posted anything in a while. A combination of illness and a dead hard drive led to part of that. The rest of it is the result of the presidential election. I just cannot yet believe that we've voted for our own destruction at the hands of our domestic enemies.

It's tough to realize that this is no longer the country I grew up in where freedom from government, personal responsibility and initiative were once valued.

There are several reasons for this, but it all boils down to one thing: we were targeted many years ago. The enemy even told us what they wanted to do and how they were going to do it.

We were defeated not militarily, but socially. And we allowed it to happen by not recognizing "the other" in our midst, challenging it, pointing out it's opposition to our traditional values, and eradicating it.

The anti-American Progressive Left won. We will never be the same. The long-held beliefs that characterized this once-great nation have been undermined and ridiculed to the point that anyone who now holds them are called "extremists." This was done through the media, which is now wholly owned by the left wing.

I had hoped that we'd awaken from our slumber.

I was wrong.

So, I'm retiring this blog. It's sort of painful, but at the same time, I am forced by circumstances beyond my control to concentrate on my own survival. As most of you know, I've been out of work for many years (save one short stint). I must now navigate the maze of government assistance in order to eat and try to find health care. I had hoped the economy would pick up after Mitt Romney's election and I could return to work in my chosen field of manufacturing.

Again, I was wrong.

I leave for you this blog, my heart. Everything here was for you in the hopes that you'd appreciate my viewpoint and that you would be inspired to do your own research so you could see things for yourself and find the Truth. That is still my hope.

I enjoyed my time studying politics. I hope you all enjoyed it too.

There is a lot to find in the archives here. After all, I spent the better part of four years here and wrote almost 500 posts. Not much when compared to my contemporaries, but enough to keep me quite busy and engaged. Feel free to poke around, as I don't think much will change in the next four years: our enemies are quite busy completing the task they began. Now they have the reins of power. Perhaps you'll find something you didn't know.

It was fun.

May God in Heaven have mercy upon us all.
