Yesterday was a great day in American political history, and an important one, too. The country spoke out and said not only "No" but "Hell No!".
Let's take a quick look at what we did:
We stopped the hard left turn that Obama, Reid, and Pelosi have been turning the country towards against our will.
And speakering of Pelosi, she is no longer the Speaker of the House. Her deathgrip on the gavel is no more.
Harry Reid is quaking in his oversized shoes.
Russ Feingold is now a regular citizen.
The Idiot Alan Grayson is gone.
Republicans picked up 61 seats in the House to take control away from Democrats.
Tea Party candidates made a respectable showing for a nascent movement.
Marco Rubio and Colonel Alan West were elected to Congress.
Twenty-seven states now have Republican governors.
Did we conservatives get everything we wanted? No. Have you ever gone fishing and caught all the fish?
We did, however, do something vitally important for the country: we sent a message.
We're back!
Note: Today starts the move into the new digs, and along with it short or nonexistent posts for a few weeks, for real this time. You can always visit some of my blog buddies on the list in the sidebar. I promise I'll be back as soon as possible. This blogging thing is worse than crack, not that I'd know, or anything. Anyway, have fun.
