Friday Bits of Tid, NFL Draft Edition

While we're between rounds, here's a list of the first round picks. Our National Champion Alabama Crimson Tide had two players taken in the first round, first time that's happened since 2000. Congrats to Rolando McClain (Raiders) and Kareem Jackson (Houston). Tim Tebow went 25th (Broncos). He'll have some good coaches in Denver, and they have a tradition of outstanding quarterbacks.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch...

Botox may diminish the experience of emotion. In Nancy Pelosi's case, we already know it diminishes intelligence.

Another remnant of the Old South trampled by political correctness.

Contrary to what the LSM tells you, we can read.

The end of an era. Leonard Nimoy retires. He appears in TV's Fringe, or  X-Files, The Next Generation as it's known is some parts. Live Long and Prosper.

It's never too early to prepare for Cinco de Mayo. Here's a margarita recipe. Let the quality control begin!

While we're on the subject of food, we find that, much like bacon, chocolate has many healing properties.

"Wake up kids, pack up the car. We're headed to the Croquet Hall of Fame!"

Please don't mix business with pleasure.

And finally, today is the Bard's birthday, you rapscallion. Insult thyself hither.

Have a great weekend, y'all.
